Hi everyone. It has been a long time (two months!) since I posted on my blog. I was away from home for most of it on an extended work detail. But, I am back now and excited to start this up again. I actually designed this welcome gift tag over the spring, but didn’t have time to post it before I left. These can be used to welcome guests to your wedding weekend, family reunion, or any big event. Tie them to a bag of your favorite things to make your guests’ stays more comfortable. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.
Materials:
Printer
Scissors or Paper Cutter
White Cardstock
Hole Punch
Twine or Ribbon

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with eight tags on a page. Open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Even though the PDF will open in your web browser and other applications, it is important that you use Adobe Reader on a computer to edit it, or it will not work properly. It is a free download from Adobe if you do not already have it.
Once the file is open, click in the blue highlighted field and type your information. You only have to fill out one tag on the page; the others will auto-populate when you hit the TAB key. Then save and print as many as you like.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
I used brown paper sacks, but any gift wrap will do. I folded them down once and then punched a hole through the top of the bags. I used twine to attach. They are ready to welcome your guests.

Missed seeing your blog. Many thanks for the cute personalized gift tag. I see so many uses for it.
You were missed! In your absence, I printed several pages for various projects and to have on hand for with future gift wrapping! Thank you! I look forward to more projects in the future!
