The end of spring isn’t really near yet, but these longer and warmer days have me thinking of summer. And none too soon. It has been a long, cold pandemic winter, and I am glad it is over. If you are putting together teacher gifts in the next few weeks, these are great tags. They say “have a sweet summer” and are easily paired with chocolate, cookies, or any sweet treat. You may download your free printable tags at the bottom of this page.
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with four circle tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
The tool you need to make these tags is an extra large circle punch. This design is compatible with a 3.5 inch circle. I used this punch that I bought on Amazon and I love it. It is so easy to use.
First, trim the white edge with scissors. Next, insert your sheet and flip the punch over so that you can center the design inside the frame. Then just press down.
You now have a perfect circle.
STEP 3 Package the Treats
I used little paper sacks. Fill the bags with any sweet treat. I folded down the bags and then wrapped twine around the tops. I clipped on a clothespin to hold it in place.
