Sometimes, you just want to say thanks. No extra words or clever sayings or cutesy drawings. Just an elegant, simple thanks. These modern two-inch gift tags, oriented on the diagonal, fit the description. You can print them on any color of paper to make them match your occasion. You may download your free printable tags using the form at the bottom of this page.
Materials:
Printer (you may also bring the PDF to a copy store near you–I used Fed Ex)
Cardstock
Scissors (if you do not have a paper cutter)
Paper Cutter
1/8 inch Hole Punch
Baker’s Twine
Brown Paper Sacks
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with twelve tags on a page.
For paper, use a white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also have them printed at Fed Ex, Staples or an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the latter.
Use your small hole punch to create a hole for the baker’s twine above “THANKS” at the top point of the tag.
STEP 3 Package
I used little brown paper sacks, but there are loads of packaging options you can use. Fill the bags with any gift or treat.
I folded down the bags one time and then punched a hole through the top. I ran the string through the holes and tied bows.
Fabulous.
