Thanksgiving Place Setting with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Place Card with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

For the second part in my “So Many Reeses to Be Thankful” series, I used the tags I posted on Sunday to create unique (and delicious) place cards.  Your guests will love being able to take these party favors home with them. The free printable tags may be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet.  Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive.  The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with eight tags on a page.

For paper, use a card stock in a light color.  I used this paper.  If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at Fed Ex or an office store local to you.  The cost is usually about a dollar per sheet, and many vendors will also cut them for you.

Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

I prefer to use a paper cutter when I am cutting out tags, as it is easier to get the corners perfectly square using the guides.   If you don’t have a paper cutter, however, you can also use scissors.

After your tags are cut out, cut the corners with scissors.

STEP 3 Punch Holes

Using a small hole punch, create a hole in the top center.

STEP 4 Fill the Bottles

Fill the bottles with Reese’s Cups.  I used the new Reese’s Miniatures Stuffed with Reese’s Pieces. Yum.

STEP 5 Tie the Tags.

If you are going to use them as place cards, write your guests’ names on the tags before you attach the tags to the bottles.  Wrap the necks of the bottles several times with twine, then attach the tags with a bow. Everyone is going to love them.  Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. These ideas are all so great. I love getting the emails saying that you’ve posted something new. I might use these for teachers gifts because they’re so cute and a little personal note could be used.
