For some reason I wasn’t feeling very creative this week. When thinking about what free printable gift tag to design next, I could not come up with anything new. After a few seconds of searching, I decided to just design a new thank you gift tag. These are in a simple black font and can be printed on kraft or white cardstock. You can use them for any occasion when you want to thank someone, whether it is your weekend host, your kid’s teacher, or a friend who has done you a favor. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free at the bottom of this post.
Materials:
Printer
Scissors
Cardstock
2.5 Inch Paper Punch
Hole Punch
Twine or Ribbon
Brown Paper Sacks
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with nine tags on a page.
For paper, use cardstock in any color. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
I used a circle paper punch to cut out the tags. First, trim the white border to allow you to insert the sheet and center. Flip your punch over, so that you can see the design inside the frame. Then just press down. I used simple brown paper bags and twine for my gift.
