These Thanks for Helping Me Grow Gift Tags are a design I planned a few months ago for teacher appreciation week. I know everyone probably won’t be able to give physical gifts to their teachers this year, but perhaps you can save it for later this summer or use next school year. They would also make a sweet Mother’s Day gift. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.
Materials:
Printer
White Cardstock
Scissors
2.5 Inch Paper Punch
Skewers
Small Hole Punch
Succulents, Herbs, Seeds, or any Plant
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with nine tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
The tool you need to make these tags is a 2.5 inch circle punch. I used this punch that I bought on Amazon. Trim the tags with scissors to remove excess border as needed. Flip the punch over so that you can center the design inside the frame, and then insert your paper. Align. Then just press down.
Punch a hole in the bottom and top of the tag, so it can be threaded on a skewer or plant stake.
STEP 3 Attach Tags to Plant
Stick the tag into the soil of your plants. Give to teachers, customers, clients, or anyonoe who has helped you or your business grow. Enjoy.

Hi! Thank you for such a sweet tag printable! This is Staff Appreciation Week at my son’s school. With today also being Earth Day, the gift for today was a small flowering plant with this printable on a skewer as you have presented. I enlarged the graphic enough to use as a single print of the graphic on a (letter size) sign on the table next to the bins of plants.
