When I was searching for ideas for my post on Halloween treat bags several weeks ago, I spent a little time looking at decorations for home and parties as well. When I was a child, Halloween was my favorite holiday. Not only did it provide access to candy I did not usually get, but it was also a time to explore, dress up, and be creative. While I do not love Halloween quite as much as I did back then, I still enjoy decorating and adding a few touches to my home that celebrate the change in seasons. I am not a fan of super creepy or overdone, haunted house type decor, but I do like understated pieces such as white pumpkins and rustic brooms. These are a few of my favorites for this year.
