Retro Black Cat Halloween Tags

Retro Halloween Free Printable Gift Tags

I always enjoy looking at retro Halloween decorations from the 1950s and 1960s, especially the brightly colored paper treat bags. These tags are a simplified take on those fun designs, and they feature a black cat standing on a full moon, with a witch flying by on her broomstick. You may download the free printable tags using the form at the bottom of this post.

Materials:

Printer
White Cardstock
Scissors or Paper Cutter
Hole Punch
Black and White Twine
Paper Favor Bags
Mini Clothespins

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet with eight tags on a page.

For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you may also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get the corners square with the cutter. Punch a hole in the top of the tag.

STEP 3 Attach Tags

I folded the tops of the bags down once. I then ran my string through the tag hole, and tied it to the bag. I clipped everything together with a mini clothespin.
