A couple weeks ago, Washington, DC, had a crazy rain storm that unleashed all sorts of floods. People and businesses around the area are still recovering. I made it through okay with no property damage, but as luck would have it the downpour started right when I got off the Metro. It is a ten-minute walk to my office from the subway, and I had no real choice but to wade through it. I had an umbrella, but still got drenched. The puddles on Pennsylvania Avenue were too large to go around, and the water was up to my knees in places. I finally made it to work, dumped the water out of my shoes, and about 6 hours later I was mostly dry.
These yellow umbrella tags were designed with more cheerful rain showers in mind. Use them for a bridal or baby shower, or to thank teachers for showering your little one with love and knowledge. You may download the free printable tags using the form at the bottom of this post.
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet with six tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you may also just have them printed at an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them square with the cutter.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
I used these cute yellow polka dot paper bags I found on Amazon. I folded the tops down once, then clipped everything together with a mini clothespin.
