Even though I am into packaging, it can be difficult to strike the right chord for last minute gifts, especially those that are not related to any holiday or special occasion. I often end up ransacking my craft room trying to find a gift bag or tag, which takes the fun out of it. I created these simple “hello” tags to keep on hand for those just because gifts. Used with a brown paper bag and clothespin, they are perfect for bringing muffins or cookies to a work friend, or wrapping up a candle or little treat for your hostess. You may download the free printable tags using the form at the bottom of this post.
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
I used a brown paper bag, and folded it down once. I clipped everything together with a clothespin.
