Update: Class of 2023 graduation tags are available here.
Graduation is coming up and I know some of you are planning parties and gifts. These tags are ready to adorn your gift bags. I did these with a black chalkboard background and white text. You can make them match your school colors by adding string or ribbon. The printable Class of 2019 gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.
Materials:
Printer (you may also bring the PDF to a copy store near you–I used Fed Ex)
Scissors or Paper Cutter
White Cardstock
Clothespins
Brown Paper Sacks
Baker’s Twine
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with six tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
I used little brown paper sacks, but any gift wrap will do. You might want to get bags in their school colors.
I folded down the bags and then wrapped yellow and white baker’s twine around the tops. Feel free to use more than one color of twine here! I clipped everything together with a clothespin.
That’s it! They are ready for the graduate.
