I am taking a break from the snow and freezing rain we are currently getting pelted with in Virginia, to dream of summer for a few minutes. If you’re planning a coastal wedding or oyster-themed celebration, small details can make a big impact. This “Aw Shucks, We Sure Are Grateful” gift tag is a fun and playful way to add an oyster theme to wedding favors, welcome bags, and coastal party thank you gifts.
This tag features an oyster illustration and simple typography, making it easy to pair with a variety of styles. Printer
Scissors
2.5 Inch Paper Punch
White Cardstock
Twine or Ribbon
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the 8.5 x 11 inch PDF at the bottom of this page and save it to your hard drive. Then open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is a free download from Adobe if you do not already have it.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
I used a 2.5 inch punch to cut out the tags. First, trim the white border to allow you to insert the sheet and center the square. Flip your punch over, so that you can see the design inside the frame. Then just press down.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
Tie the tags to your favors with twine or small clothespins
