Spring is coming and with it is wedding season. There are so many cute favor ideas for both weddings and bridal showers, that it can be hard to pick just one. These tags can go with any favor, but are especially cute with a book of matches. They have a whimsical drawing of a matchbook and they read “The Perfect Match.” Best of all, you are able to customize these to include the names of the happy couple, wedding date, or a short quote. Materials:
Printer
Scissors or Paper Cutter
White Cardstock
Hole Punch
Twine or Ribbon
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with eight tags on a page. Even though the PDF will open in your web browser and other applications, it is important that you use Adobe Reader on a computer to edit it, or it will not work properly. It is a free download from Adobe if you do not already have it.
Once the file is open, click in the blue highlighted field and type your information. You only have to fill out one tag on the page; the others will auto-populate when you hit the TAB key. Then save and print as many sheets as you like.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
Punch a hole in the top and use a simple twine to attach the tags to your gift.
