Free Printable Volunteer Appreciation Gift Tags

Thanks for Volunteering Free Printable Gift Tags

Do you work with volunteers at your school, church, or nonprofit organization? If so, then you probably know that there are many missions and tasks that would flat not get done without their efforts. Most volunteers are there for the cause, not the thank yous, but it never hurts to show them a little appreciation. These minimalist gift tags read “thanks for volunteering.” Use them with any small gift to show that their work does not go unnoticed. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free at the bottom of this post.

Materials:

Printer
Scissors
Cardstock
2.5 Inch Paper Punch
Hole Punch
Twine or Ribbon
Brown Paper Sacks

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with nine tags on a page.

For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

I used a square paper punch, 2.5 inch size, to cut out the tags. (You can also use a paper cutter, but I generally find the punch to be easier and faster.) First, trim the border to allow you to insert the sheet and center. Flip your punch over, so that you can see the design inside the frame. Then just press down. I used simple brown paper bags and natural twine for my gift.
