Free Printable You’re as Sweet as Pie Gift Tags

Happy Sunday. It has been a fairly quiet weekend here in Virginia, but we did go over to our friends’ home for dinner last night. We usually bring dessert when we visit them, and Nick decided to pick up an apple pie from Livin’ the Pie Life. In order to make it a bit more personal, I decided to dress up the wrapping a bit. The bakery uses stamped kraft cardboard boxes for their pies, which fits perfectly with the gift tags that I have been designing lately. I made tags that read You’re as Sweet as Pie, printed them on kraft cardstock, and tied one to the box with neutral ribbon. You can use these with mini pies as well, and use for staff appreciation or teachers. They are also great for housewarmings, host gifts, pi day, or a just because gift for a friend. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.

Materials:

Printer
Scissors or Paper Cutter
Kraft Cardstock
Hole Punch
Twine or Ribbon

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with eight tags on a page. Open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is a free download from Adobe if you do not already have it.

For paper, use a bright white cardstock or kraft cardstock (I used kraft). If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter.

STEP 3 Attach Tags

Use these tags with any size pie, or pie-related gift (such as backing dishes or utensils).
