Open If You Dare Free Printable Halloween Gift Tags

Free Printable Halloween Candy Gift Tags

Labor Day is in the books and my thoughts are turning toward fall. The next holiday is, of course, Halloween. These Open If You Dare gift tags are for favors at your Halloween party, or for packaging candy bags for neighborhood kids and trick or treaters. You may download your free printable tags at the bottom of this page.

Materials:

Printer (you may also bring the PDF to a copy store near you)
White Cardstock
Scissors
3.5 inch Hole Punch
Small Hole Punch
Baker’s Twine
Paper Sacks
Clothespins

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with four circle tags on a page.

For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

The tool you need to make these tags is an extra large circle punch. This design is compatible with a 3.5 inch circle. I used this punch that I bought on Amazon and I love it. It is so easy to use.

First, trim the white edge with scissors. Next, insert your sheet and flip the punch over so that you can center the design inside the frame. Then just press down.

You now have a perfect circle.

STEP 3 Package the Treats

I used little paper sacks. Fill the bags with any treat. I folded down the bags and then wrapped twine around the tops. I clipped on a clothespin to hold it in place.
