I have been dreaming about the coast a lot lately. While I have always enjoyed living in the city, so many of the things I liked about urban living—restaurants with vibe, a car-free lifestyle, farmer’s markets, downtown strolls—no longer exist or are just not enjoyable anymore. I managed a Florida escape to visit family a few weeks ago, and while that was a nice break, it also got me longing to just set up shop there until we recover from the pandemic. Maybe I still will.
