A Tower of Presents Birthday Gift Tags

Tower of Presents Birthday Gift Tags

A couple of weeks ago I posted a birthday card with an image of a girl holding a tower of wrapped presents. I decided to do birthday gift tags to go with the card, and I like the way they turned out. Although I am calling them birthday tags, you can really use them for any occasion to create cute packaging. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.

Materials:

Printer
Scissors or Paper Cutter
Hole Punch
White Cardstock
Brown Paper Sacks
Ribbon

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet.

For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter. I used my small punch to create a hole in the top of the tags.

STEP 3 Attach Tags

I used brown paper sacks. I tied on my tags with a small piece of ribbon.
