These simple ‘homemade by’ gift tags can be downloaded and then edited in Adobe Reader, so that you are able to easily add your name. Use them with any baked treat, such as cookies or cake, or with anything else that comes out of your kitchen. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.
Materials:
Printer
Scissors or Paper Cutter
Hole Punch
White Cardstock
Brown Paper Sacks
Bakers Twine
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet.
Download Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free from Adobe. You must use Reader to edit the PDF, or it will not work properly. Open the file and type your custom text in the highlighted field. Save.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter. I used my small punch to create a hole in the top of the tags.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
I used brown paper sacks. I looped bakers twine several times around the bags, then tied on the tags.

Love your designs. Getting my Garden Club back for the first meeting is difficult with all the COVID rules. I made muffins for those coming and used your paper bag idea with one of your decals. I know they will be surprised and pleased..
I am so glad you were able to use them!
