Creative inspiration has been harder for me lately. I was trying to come up with an idea for a gift tag that was a little different than my usual design, and then it occurred to me that I could just use the word inspire. I incorporated the calligraphy script into the stem of a red mid-century modern flower. The tags go well with kraft paper bags and natural twine for rustic-style gift wrapping. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
Use your paper cutter to cut out the gift tags along the crop lines. You may use scissors if you don’t have a paper cutter, but it is easier to get them straight with the cutter.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
I used small brown paper sacks, but you can also use them on a box wrapped with kraft paper.
