If you are planning a baby shower or bridal shower this spring, this is a fabulous favor idea. Tie a “From My Shower to Yours” gift tag to a bar of soap or body wash, and send them home with something they will actually use. If you are the bride or mama-to-be, then it also makes a good hostess thank you gift. The gift tags may be downloaded free at the bottom of this post.
Materials:
Printer
Scissors
Large Gift Tag Punch
White Cardstock
Ribbon
Shower Oil or Soap
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the email form at the bottom of this page and save it. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with eight tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
The tool you need to make these tags is the Fiskars large tag punch. Roughly cut the tags with scissors to remove excess border as needed. Insert your paper and flip the punch over so that you can center the design inside the frame. Then just press down.
Then, turn the punch over and insert the tag into the smaller slot to make a hole for the twine.
STEP 3 Attach Tags

Once you have your gifts together, just tie the tags on using a pretty ribbon.
