These gift tags may be a little (or a lot) familiar. They coordinate with the eggcellent Easter tags that I posted last week. The “You’re an Eggcellent Teacher” tags are specifically for your favorite teachers. Fill a mason jar with Whoppers eggs like I did, or use bags of jelly beans, Reese’s peanut butter cup eggs, or any egg-shaped candy. It’s such a small gift, but will make teacher’s day!
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with nine tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
The tool you need to make these tags is a 2.25 inch circle punch. I used this punch that I bought on Amazon. It has a pretty scalloped edge. Roughly cut the tags with scissors to remove excess border as needed. Insert your paper and flip the punch over so that you can center the design inside the frame. Then just press down.
Punch a hole for the string at the top of each tag using your small hole punch.
STEP 3 Fill Jar & Attach Tags
Cut a piece of baker’s twine and wrap it several times around the jar. String through the hole in your tag, then tie a bow.
Your elementary school, high school, music, and Sunday school teachers are going to love these!
