These are cute Valentine gift tags for cookies or sweet treats. These tags, featuring a tree branch with brightly patterned red hearts, are for either kids or adults. Tie them to sweet treats for your child to bring to school, or use them to give cookies to staff or clients. They can be used on homemade or store-bought goodies. The printable gift tags may be downloaded free using the form at the bottom of this post.
Materials for the DIY tags:
Printer
Scissors
2.5 Inch Paper Punch
Small Hole Punch
White Cardstock
Twine or Ribbon
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with nine tags on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
I used a 2.5 inch circle punch to cut out the tags. First, trim the white border to allow you to insert the sheet and center the circle. Flip your punch over, so that you can see the design inside the frame. Then just press down. Use your small punch to create a hole for the string at the top and bottom of the tag.
STEP 3 Attach Tags
Attach the tags to your gifts using twine or ribbon. For my cookie bags, I ran the twine through each hole and then tied a bow.

Really Cute idea. Retired FCS (Home Economics) teacher would love to surprise my 3 former coworkers with a cookie and your tag when we meet next month. TY
