It is time for you (and the kids) to start thinking about this year’s Valentine cards. These mini cards are perfect for giving to friends this Valentine’s Day. All you have to do is print, cut, and package with the mints of your choice. If you need ideas for what kind of candies to buy, I highly recommend these melty mints. I am, usually, an anti-mint person. But these? They melt in your mouth and are the only mints I not only tolerate, but absolutely love. I hope you enjoy these We Were Mint To Be Friends Valentines, whether you use them for your child’s classroom or your adult friends on February 14.
Edit: If you don’t have a printer or are short on time, you may also buy them already printed on Zazzle.
Materials:
Color Printer (you may also bring the PDF to a copy store near you–I use Fed Ex often)
Paper Cutter or Scissors
White Cardstock
Clear Food Safe Bags
Ribbon
Mint Candies or Tic Tacs
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with six cards on a page.
For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. The cost is less than a dollar per sheet, and many vendors will also cut them for you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
I prefer to use a paper cutter when I am cutting out cards, as it helps to get the corners perfectly square using the guides. If you don’t have a paper cutter, however, you can also use scissors.
STEP 3 Bag
After they are cut out, slip the cards into cellophane bags and add mints.
They are going to love these Valentines.
