I hope you are are not tired of holiday printables yet, because I have another one for you. I have been playing around more with my Apple Pencil and Procreate, still focusing on watercolor. I drew a number of evergreen leaves and berries over the course of the past week, and then arranged them into a pretty Christmas wreath. The final design is these traditional Merry Christmas gift tags. You may download your free printable tags using the form at the end of these instructions.
Materials:
Printer
White Cardstock
Scissors
3.5 inch Hole Punch
1/4 inch Hole Punch
Ribbon or Twine
Brown Paper Sacks
STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags
Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with four circle tags on a page.
For paper, use a white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also have them printed at Staples or an office store local to you.
Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.
STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags
The tool you need to make these tags is an extra large circle punch. This design is compatible with a 3.5 inch circle. I used this punch that I bought on Amazon.
First, trim the white border so that you can fully insert the tag into the punch. Next, insert your sheet and flip the punch over so that you can center the design inside the frame. Then just press down. You now have a perfect circle.
Use your small hole punch to create a hole for the ribbon at the top of the tag.
STEP 3 Package the Treats
I used little brown paper sacks and baker’s twine. I folded down the bags and then punched a hole for the string. I then ran the twine through the holes and tied a bow. I clipped everything together with a small clothespin.
