Rustic Flower Bookmark Gift Tags

These personalized gift tags are a little present in themselves. The editable PDF may be customized with names or a short message. Hang it from the handle of a gift bag with ribbon. After opening the gift, the person who receives it may use it as a bookmark. They are perfect for the bookworm in your life, and have a rustic flower ink drawing and green background. Materials:

Printer
Scissors
White Cardstock
Hole Punch
Steel Ruler
Xacto Knife
Brown Paper Bag
Teal Ribbon

STEP 1 Download and Print Your Tags

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this page. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet. To edit, open the file in Adobe Reader, which is a free download.  Then, just click in one of the highlighted fields and type.

For paper, use a bright white cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you. Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out Your Tags

Place your steel ruler along the edge of the bookmark. Draw the Xacto knife firmly along the ruler once or twice, until the paper separates. This will give you a clean cut. Repeat for the remaining sides.

Punch a hole for the ribbon.

STEP 3 Attach Tags

I used little handled brown paper bags, but any gift wrap will do. I cut a length of ribbon, looped it around the handle, and then ran it through the bookmark’s hole from front to back. I trimmed the ribbon tails underneath the tag at an angle.
