Free Printable Soap Bar Wrappers

A nice bar of soap and other beauty products make a perfect thank you gift for teachers, volunteers, customers, staff or anyone you appreciate. This idea allows you to forego the gift tag by creating a wrapper for the soap that says “you’re the best BAR none.” The type is black, so you can print it on any color of paper.

I used Perfectly Posh soap, which is so luxurious. I just love it. My dear friend Beth sells the products, so if you are interested, please take a look at her site.

Materials:

Printer (you may also bring the PDF to a copy store near you–I used Fed Ex)
Paper Cutter
Cardstock
Double-sided Tape
Large Bar of Soap

STEP 1 Download and Print

Download the PDF using the link at the bottom of this sheet. Save it to your hard drive or a thumb drive. The PDF is a letter size, 8.5×11 inch sheet, with two wrappers on a page.

For paper, use a bright white or colored cardstock. If you do not have a printer, you can also just have them printed at an office store local to you.

Once you are ready, print as many sheets as you need.

STEP 2 Cut Out

I prefer to use a paper cutter when I am cutting, as it helps to get the lines perfectly square using the guides. I really like my Purple Cows Trimmer. If you don’t have a paper cutter, however, you can also use scissors. Measure the soap and cut a wrapper the same width.

STEP 3 Wrap

Hold the soap against the paper and gently make impressions at the corners with your fingers.  Then, remove the soap and fold crisply. You may wish to measure and use a scoring tool to get crisp folds, but that is optional. Then, just tape together using double-sided tape.

That’s it! Add to a basket, or gift it by itself.
